The planned installation capacity of Guangdong Huaxia Yangxi Power Plant is 7480MW (2×600MW+2×660MW +4×1240MW). The whole project is implemented in two phases. For the Yangxi Power Plant Phase II extension project, 2×1240MW high efficiency super supercritical coal-fired generator set ate to be built. No. 5 is put into operation in December, 2016 and No. 6 is put into operation in April, 2017. They are the biggest ones which have been in operation in China. All the boilers, steam turbines and generators, the three core components made and provided by Shanghai Electric Group are used here. And then the high-voltage inverters adopted are provided by Shanghai Electric Fuji Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd.
